Muslim Shadi is a privacy-focused Islamic matchmaking platform for USA residents. Please read these terms carefully before using the service.
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Muslim Shadi (muslimshadi.org), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. This platform provides Islamic matchmaking services for marriage-minded Muslims residing in the United States.
2. Eligibility
Muslim Shadi is for adult Muslims (18+) living in the USA who are seeking marriage with sincere intention. You must provide accurate, complete information. Only @gmail.com, @outlook.com, and @yahoo.com addresses may be used to register.
3. Manual profile review
Every profile is reviewed by our admin team before approval. Incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate profiles may be rejected or permanently removed. Rejection may delete your profile and account data from the platform.
4. Photo consent
During signup you choose whether your profile picture may be shown to other approved candidates. If you do not consent, candidates see a placeholder instead of your photo. Admins may still view your photo for verification. Your choice does not affect admin review.
5. Government ID verification
You must provide a government-issued picture ID for identity verification, either during signup or by email. ID documents are stored privately and viewed only by admins. They are never shared with candidates or other members.
6. Information shared with members
After approval, profile details (such as name, UID, age, profession, bio, and partner requirements) may be shown to other approved candidates of the opposite gender. Your email and phone number are revealed only when an interest request is accepted — creating a match.
7. Mutual interest & contact
Members send interest requests to candidates they wish to connect with. Recipients may view the full profile before accepting or rejecting. Contact information becomes visible only after an interest request is accepted.
8. Acceptable use
You agree to interact respectfully and in line with Islamic values. Harassment, misrepresentation, sharing another member's private contact details, and misuse of the platform are strictly prohibited.
9. Privacy
We take privacy seriously. Profile data, photos, and ID documents are handled with care. Government IDs and non-consented photos are never exposed to candidates. We do not sell your personal information.
10. Account deletion
Admins may delete profiles that violate these terms or fail verification. You may contact support to request account removal. Deletion removes your profile, uploaded files, and related interest data from the platform.
11. Platform disclaimer
Muslim Shadi provides a platform that helps USA Muslims create profiles, verify identity, and connect when interest is mutual. We do not arrange marriages, vouch for members beyond our verification process, or supervise private conversations. Please do your own due diligence before communicating or proceeding with anyone. We are not responsible for interactions between members or for any outcomes that follow from using the platform.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of Muslim Shadi after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
